Amethyst Ground holds two temperatures in a single square field — warm terracotta and ochre rising from below, cool violet and indigo settling from above. Between them, a luminous band of bone and cream opens like a clearing, where the earthbound and the atmospheric meet without dissolving into one another.
Alyne Perfeito builds the surface in overlapping strata, letting vertical currents of pigment descend and pool while blocks of color hold their ground. Scattered across the composition, small raised marks of deep red and black punctuate the field like mineral seeds — quiet accents of matter that catch the light and anchor the gaze. Nothing here is hurried; each passage records a decision to advance or to hold.
Here the Terra & Ether investigation turns toward dusk, where mineral color and violet air share the same threshold. Amethyst Ground is a work about coexistence — the weight of earth and the drift of sky negotiating a fragile, luminous balance. Composed for contemplative interiors, it carries depth, warmth, and a slow, grounded stillness.
Amethyst Ground reúne duas temperaturas num único campo quadrado — terracota e ocre quentes que sobem de baixo, violeta e índigo frios que se assentam do alto. Entre eles, uma faixa luminosa de creme e osso se abre como uma clareira, onde o terreno e o atmosférico se encontram sem se dissolver um no outro.
Alyne Perfeito constrói a superfície em estratos sobrepostos, deixando correntes verticais de pigmento descerem e formarem poça enquanto blocos de cor mantêm seu lugar. Espalhados pela composição, pequenas marcas em relevo de vermelho profundo e preto pontuam o campo como sementes minerais — acentos silenciosos de matéria que capturam a luz e ancoram o olhar. Nada aqui tem pressa; cada passagem registra a decisão de avançar ou de permanecer.

If you are outside Brasília, additional detail photographs and video of this specific work are sent on request through the same channel.

Shipping is paid by the buyer, together with any import duties or taxes in the destination country. Within Brazil it is quoted by postcode and takes up to 15 business days depending on destination; internationally it is quoted per destination on request. Professional packaging is included and transit insurance is available. Collecting the work in person after purchase is also possible.
